About the Pediatric Care Center RN Role
We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Care Center team at ChristianaCare. As a Pediatric Care Center RN, you will provide high-quality care to children under the age of 18 with a variety of diagnoses, including RSV, sepsis, asthma, broken bones, GI illnesses, head or body injuries, high fever, and infections.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes excellent patient outcomes and employee satisfaction
Requirements
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
- Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department, or critical care experience preferred
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred
