Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in accordance with their needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
  • Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.
