At Lockheed Martin, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology. As a Senior Electrical Component Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge electrical components for our advanced systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and/or assist in the performance of Electrical Component (Parts) Engineering, development, and execution of the program Electrical Electronic Electromechanical and Electrooptical (EEEE) Parts management plan.
  • Evaluate new technologies and work closely with survivability, designers, test, and manufacturing engineers, agencies like DLA, Part Manufacturers, and Test Labs.
  • Develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the harshest of environments and most critical strategic systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Formal coursework, training, experience, and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics, and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and capacitors.
  • Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials, and processes used in EEEE parts.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Engineering with emphasis on electrical parts, semiconductor physics, or related field of study.
  • Familiarity with technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.).
  • Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR.
  • Basic understanding of Nuclear effects on EEEE parts and demonstrated ability to work closely with Survivability Engineers in strategic Rad Hard applications.

We offer a competitive salary range of $82,200 - $157,500, depending on location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. This position is incentive plan eligible.
