  • Payroll Data Acquisition: You'll implement and manage our payroll data acquisition system, integrating with payroll processors to acquire and normalize payroll data.
  • Data Normalization: You'll simplify payroll data across multiple sources, integrating it into our proprietary tax return forecasting model.
  • Deployment & Iteration: We practice a dynamic, data-driven approach to product development, empowering you to maximize our impact on user's take-home pay while keeping them informed and comfortable during the process.
  • Shipping to Production: You'll have access to a rapid CI/CD process, enabling you to ship to production daily.

  • Autonomy and Initiative: Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and showcase a proactive approach to identifying key leverage points for data products.
  • Curiosity and Optimism: People who constantly ask why things work the way they do and who have the will to change them.
  • Self-Starter: Confidence to prioritize work and deliver demonstrable results on a tight cadence.
  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated experience or understanding of web scrapers, data acquisition, and normalization.
  • Experience with Data Acquisition: Proven experience in screen scraping, crawling, data normalization, and API integration.
