Job Title: Medical Assistant - Occupational Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Occupational Health team at Premier Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the physician and/or provider to perform administrative and clinical tasks. This includes assisting with examinations and procedures, preparing and maintaining medical records, and scheduling patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physician/provider with examinations and procedures for patients
  • Prepare and maintain medical records in a confidential manner
  • Schedule patient appointments to enhance clinic flow
  • Register patients in the clinic database
  • Order necessary patient services in a timely manner
  • Maintain supplies for the office
Requirements:
  • High school completion or equivalent required
  • CPR certification required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and processes
  • Basic administrative skills, including typing, filing, and use of office equipment
