We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision in assigned area.
- Aid with entry and exit of patients.
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Document necessary records.
- Responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
