Tax Professional

De Novo HRConsulting & Business Advisory is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to provide expert quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance, with experience in tax preparation and planning.

• Prepare and execute client engagements, including tax planning and preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Provide tax services using Thomson Reuters UltraTax, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and analyze work papers and tax forms, conducting research as needed.
• Support the recording of financial transactions and maintenance of general ledgers, reconciling financial discrepancies.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and assist clients in maintaining general ledgers.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a public accounting firm environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to pivot between multiple tools and software programs.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and other accounting software programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a best-in-class client experience.
