Respiratory Therapist

As a Respiratory Therapist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients for appropriate respiratory care and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses.
- Implement and maintain respiratory care equipment and ensure proper function.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in respiratory care.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
