  • Therapy Services: Provide skilled occupational therapy services, including screening, assessment, and treatment of patients. Develop and implement interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in occupational therapy. Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification: Current CPR certification.
  • Experience: Six months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
