Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Uncle Tetsu, a renowned international bakery chain. As a Bakery Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, including cheesecakes, cookies, and tarts, according to our company's recipes and standards.

• Prepare baked goods to meet Uncle Tetsu's standards for flavor, color, and aroma.
• Guide and train Bakery Assistants to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Perform all Bakery Assistant duties, including preparing ingredients, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Some high school education.
• Minimum one year of operations experience.

You will be required to obtain local/municipal food safety certifications, such as Food Handler certification, at your own expense.

This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, steam, and noise. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and reach across counter tops to serve customers.
