We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at Emmy Squared Pizza in Birmingham. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all equipment and food are available to wait staff at the right time.
  • Wash and clean all cookware from kitchen production according to Emmy Squared standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dish area, including setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment.
  • Keep the kitchen floor clean and free of food residue or debris.
  • Assist with waste removal and safe lifting practices.
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
  • Use facility supplies and equipment efficiently to minimize loss and waste.
  • Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Previous back-of-house restaurant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to produce high volumes of work while maintaining quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Ability to work with chemicals and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry items up to 40 lbs. and push/pull items up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.
