As a Physician Assistant, you will take on the responsibility and accountability for delivering comprehensive care, support, and education to patients and their families throughout their medical journey.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will:
- Identify and address the physical and emotional needs of patients.
- Employ a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient and family care, serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher.
- Maintain accountability for job performance standards.
- Uphold personal responsibility for departmental and organizational missions and core values.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of surgical experience (if applicable).
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a current mid-level provider license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work - ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
