Sandwich Artist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sandwich Artist to join our team at Jimmy John's Sandwich Atlas Group AZ2 2391IS. As a Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and making sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Customer Service: Provide FREAKY world-class customer service to Jimmy John's customers while spreading the love through delivering FREAKY FAST JJ's sammies.
• Sandwich Preparation: Prep and make sandwiches (pull meat, prepare veggies, bake bread) to meet the high standards of Jimmy John's.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain and foster Company Culture, adhere to Team Member Handbook Policies and Procedures, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Food Safety: Maintain Food Safety, Workplace Safety, and Store and Equipment Safety.

• Must be a FREAK about sandwiches: You must have a passion for making sandwiches and providing excellent customer service.
• Must be coachable: You must be willing to learn and take feedback to improve your skills.
• Must be energetic, enthusiastic, confident, and charismatic: You must have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to memorize the Jimmy John's menu within 14 days and pass the test: You must be able to learn and remember the menu items and procedures.
• Must have state-required Food Handlers Card for CA and AZ only: You must have the necessary certification to handle food safely.

You must be able to work in a moderately loud and fast-moving environment. Jimmy John's stores play music at a moderate level all day. You must be able to avoid distraction and apply safety best practices while using slicer, knives, and oven.

You must be able to stand for the length of shift. You must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. You must be able to climb a ladder if needed.

• Competitive hourly rate: $13.85 - $15.50 hourly rate (based on experience) + Inshop Pool Tips.
