About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Associate to join our Corporate Finance team and contribute significantly during a period of remarkable growth. This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance and will provide essential modeling and analytical support for annual and long-term cash flow planning, capital markets strategies, and high-profile valuation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Finance leadership and the executive team to plan and prioritize capital allocation decisions that support Pacaso's operational goals. This role will also be pivotal in our preparations for entering public markets. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, a keen attention to detail, and a relentless drive for accuracy, thriving in a fast-paced and analytical environment. Mastery of Excel, including advanced modeling and data manipulation skills, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to Long-term and Annual Planning processes by providing insights into budgeting, ROI, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain forecasting models; monitor performance against forecasts; communicate variances and serve as a key partner for executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations to provide analytical support for guidance and investor inquiries.
  • Work with various departments to create and maintain forward-looking three-statement models.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to deliver financial analysis and modeling that informs business planning and supports revenue growth initiatives. Develop and maintain financial models to track key metrics, forecast revenue, and evaluate the financial implications of strategic decisions.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Guide other departments by researching, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Conduct peer data analysis for benchmarking and comparative analysis.
  • Establish data controls and implement improvements to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership on critical business matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of finance experience; investment banking or private equity experience is advantageous.
  • This role is suited for proactive individuals with a strong sense of ownership, capable of managing details while maintaining a broader perspective.
  • Expertise in forecasting methods and techniques, along with advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • Comfortable interacting with executive management.
  • Creative thinker; ambitious builder with high standards of accuracy and organization.
