Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring effective and efficient clinical judgments.
- Signs and Symptoms: Assess and interpret signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Plan of Care: Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Interventions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
- Evaluation and Revision: Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Clinical Judgment: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
- Additional Duties: Perform other RN or LPN duties as assigned.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices, Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior Nurse experience preferred.
- Enteral Feeds: Experience with enteral feeds.
- Tracheostomy Care: Knowledge of tracheostomy care.
- Ventilator Management: Experience with ventilator management.
- Shift Options: Full-time, Part-time, Day shifts, NOC shifts, 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
