About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rooms to lead our hotel operations team at The Dalmar. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Monitor hotel operations sales performance against budget, review reports and financial statements to determine hotel operations performance against budget, and coach and support operations team to effectively manage occupancy and rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
  • Guest Services: Champion the brand's service vision for product and service delivery, develop systems to enable employees to understand guest satisfaction results, and communicate a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Operations Management: Facilitate the development of creative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure implementation to continually improve guest satisfaction results, ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably, and foster employee commitment to providing excellent service.

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years' experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years' experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
  • MUST have previous Marriott experience, working knowledge of Lightspeed, GXP, MGS.
