Job Summary:

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be essential in creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical procedures and guidelines, as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and case presentations
  • Supervise Care Coordinators during initial intakes
  • Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate
  • Provide patient-centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement as an integral part of the treatment team
  • Document patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referral information in the electronic medical record
  • Assist in the process of advocacy for patients' access to community resources
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide the best care to patients
  • Use multiple interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy to assist patients in meeting their identified goals
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in the assessment and treatment of patients
  • Demonstrate respect for the inherent dignity and worth of the patients
  • Monitor patient progress towards goals and address termination/discharge related issues, providing outside referrals at discharge/termination, as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
