Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Resident to join our Surgical Care Unit team. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care in a hospital setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse.
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses.
- Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
- Function as an advocate for patients and their families.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage patient care.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license.
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the unit/department.
