Job Title: Overnight Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Nurse to join our team at First City Recovery Centers LLC. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client-centered care under the supervision of the Medical Director, Charge Nurse, and Program Director.
  • Work collaboratively with a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries while exhibiting therapeutic rapport with patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with training in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Infection Control, Fire Safety, and other areas mandated by organizational policies.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status and assist with medical provider orders.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patient symptoms, and process point-of-care urine drug screens.
  • Maintain accurate client records, document medication administration, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the appropriate state and maintain current licensure.
  • Current CPR certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a chemical dependency/psychiatric setting.
  • Detoxification experience preferred, and a current TB immunization or verification of being a rector.
  • A minimum of a Practical Nursing Degree or RN degree from a community college.
