Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with First Connect Health IT Solutions Private Limited, you will operate diagnostic sonography equipment and perform imaging procedures according to department policies. You will adhere to the Practice Standards and Code of Ethics by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. You will collaborate with physicians on specialized procedures, adjust equipment, and position patients for optimal imaging. You will ensure patient comfort, gather necessary information, follow safety guidelines, and respond to emergent situations. You will also assist other departments and shifts as required.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic sonography equipment and perform imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians on specialized procedures
  • Adjust equipment and position patients for optimal imaging
  • Ensure patient comfort and gather necessary information
  • Follow safety guidelines and respond to emergent situations
  • Assist other departments and shifts as required
Requirements
  • Registered or registry-eligible by ARDMS or ARRT in ultrasound
  • Obtain valid certification within 12 months of completing an approved ultrasound training or cross-training program
  • CPR certification required
  • Advanced certifications encouraged
  • Previous experience in ultrasound preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role
  • Able to lift 50 lbs individually; 100 lbs with assistance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in general computer skills and applications
  • Must be able to take call
  • Ability to multitask and work independently using critical thinking skills
