About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Central Test Engineering team at Google Inc. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the functional performance of our mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between the Test Engineering team and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless factory software deployment, coordination strategy, and test station qualification.
  • Standardize and optimize the test process across the entire production line, driving yield and operational issues for the test line.
  • Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing on test-related Standard Operating Procedures, test fixtures, cycle time, and line balance, and manage schedules and plan for all test engineering deliverables.
  • Work with suppliers and engineering teams to develop test blueprints, including assessment of process flow, equipment/fixture designs, process controls, factory test and data infrastructure, and test reporting, implementation schedules, and validation plans prior to any Engineering build.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with hardware testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience performing Failure Analysis, Design Validation, Contract Manufacturing, or Hardware Testing for consumer electronics.
