Electrical Hardware Engineer

At Apple, we're committed to delivering innovative technologies that improve people's lives. As a member of our Health Sensing team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and launching next-generation Sensor Technologies in our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct system, board-level design, and project development, spanning the lifecycle of a new product from initial design to supporting and validating features.
- Review and comment on schematics and system reviews, develop analysis tools for hardware performance, and perform sophisticated system-level tests.
- Drive the development of component/module vendors and tester/evaluation plan bringup to deliver scalable solutions for mass production.
- Collaborate with hardware, system, operations, and test engineers to apply health sensing features and write design and architecture documents.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or system hardware engineering.
- Strong EE background in analog, mixed signal, and failure analysis with mass production experience.
- Proficiency in SPICE, Matlab, Python, LabView, or similar scripting and simulation tools.
- Experience in schematic, layout design, and review.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven partnership and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of system and firmware development.
- Experience in optical module development and quality management.
- Experience in working with overseas manufacturers and vendors.
