About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stormwater Engineer to join our Water Resources group in Nevada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading design teams related to flood control, stormwater, and drainage improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design teams in the development of two- and three-dimensional models using CAD software (Bentley MicroStation and Autodesk Civil 3D).
  • Manage and lead design teams of engineers and technicians who perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for infrastructure improvement project designs.
  • Develop and prepare design reports, project design elements, including plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Identify and analyze principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy project purposes and client needs.
  • Peer review plans and provide quality control reviews of engineering documents, reports, plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience in flood control, stormwater, and drainage planning, design, and construction management for projects and programs.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Nevada is preferred or ability to obtain within one year of start date.
