Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray/CT Technologist to fill a travel role, offering a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts, scheduled 3 to 5 times weekly based on the rotation. The position guarantees 76 hours within each pay period.


Shift Details:
Start times will vary, including:
- 3 PM
- 11 PM
- 7 PM on weekends
Shifts will predominantly consist of evening and night hours, with weekend duties covering Saturday and Sunday overnight shifts.


Work Environment:
This role is situated in a critical access hospital with a busy emergency room and minimal inpatient responsibilities. The technologist will primarily operate independently.


Equipment and Technology:
Familiarity with the following is essential:
- Epic EMR
- GE CT and PACS
- Canon x-ray room and Shimadzu Rad/Fluoro room
- GE portable x-ray
- Hologic mini
- C arm and OEC standard C arm
The department has recently undergone renovations, enhancing the work environment.


Radiologist Support:
A radiologist is available on-site during daytime hours, while nocturnists provide remote readings after hours, utilizing voice recognition software.


Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Proficiency in CT and X-ray procedures
- Valid ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
- Experience with EPIC is preferred.


Schedule:
The position involves a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts, with 3 to 5 workdays per week, depending on the weekend rotation. Start times will vary according to the assigned shift, predominantly covering evening and night hours.
