Inova Loudoun Hospital offers a diverse case mix, including pediatric care, women's health, cardiac interventions, interventional radiology, orthopedic procedures, and more. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital also provides a broad spectrum of services, including routine surgeries, pediatric care, women's health, and various specialized procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
Experience: While no prior experience is necessary, 2-3 years of experience is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification in Virginia. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in various anesthetic techniques, including intravenous, spinal, and epidural methods.
- Experience across a wide range of clinical services, such as joint replacements, spine surgery, vascular procedures, and more.
- Certification: Basic Life Support upon start; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon start; CRNA certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists upon start.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse Compact License (as applicable) and eligibility for nurse practitioner licensure in Virginia, along with necessary prescriptive authority agreements.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Registered Nurse.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualifications.
