Job Summary

The Multimodality Radiographer is a vital member of the Washington Hospital team, responsible for performing a wide range of imaging exams, including CT, MRI, and general radiography. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all CT, MRI, and general radiographic exams as ordered by the attending physician and/or Radiologist.
  • Evaluate, record, and maintain all results and records.
  • Perform other exams/procedures as applicable to the work location, such as EKG, lab draws, etc.
  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
  • Must be proficient in CT, MRI, and X-ray with previous experience required.
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, including 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p, and 10a-6p.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in a Radiologic Technologist program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is required.
  • Board Certification in CT and MRI is required within 18 months of hire.
  • ARRT Certification in MRI is preferred.
