Desktop Publishing Specialist

MillenniumSoft is seeking a skilled Desktop Publisher to join our team. As a Desktop Publisher, you will be responsible for creating and revising technical documentation for products marketed by our company.

• Electronically create and revise new and revised technical labeling documentation for products.
• Use Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe FrameMaker software applications to assemble information, organize data, and release final documents in PDF format.
• Support the Labelling, Technical Writing, and Translation Specialists in developing and revising product documentation.
• Review and edit files in different formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Produce final print PDFs for print vendor use and web-formatted documents for electronic storage on the client e-labeling website.

• Bachelor's degree in graphics or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in desktop publishing.
• Experience in labeling/packaging development and multilingual DTP (InDesign/FrameMaker) experience is preferred.
• Considerable knowledge of typography, fonts, proofreading, document formatting, desktop publishing, page layout, and design.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with excellent follow-up skills and communicate effectively with all levels of management and business units.
