Ryder is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods to our customers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load and unload freight as required by the customer
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
- Have at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years
- Paid time off starts at day 1, with 80 hours accrued in the first year
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits start at 30 days
