Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiological Care Professional, you will be responsible for producing high-quality x-ray images and ensuring patient safety during radiological procedures. Your expertise will include instructing patients, operating equipment, maintaining accurate records, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
- Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
- Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current license/certification in the state of practice required.
