North Suffolk Community Services Inc. is seeking a Residential Care Assistant to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of individuals during overnight shifts.

Your duties will include performing security checks, documenting progress, and maintaining regular communication with other team members. You will also be responsible for completing medication counts and writing daily notes as needed.

This position offers a competitive salary of $16,250 - $17,500 per year, depending on program placement. Benefits include paid time off, sick leave, holidays, health insurance, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field preferred
  • Zero to six years of experience in child care, elder care, or direct support to developmentally disabled persons
  • CPR/First Aid certification
