Job Summary

The Home Care Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within the comfort of their own homes. As a vital member of our team, you will administer prescribed physical therapy interventions to restore function, prevent disability, and promote maximum activity performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering prescribed physical therapy interventions
  • Performing treatments and assessments
  • Providing patient and family/caregiver education
  • Making safety and equipment recommendations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • A Rhode Island Physical Therapist Assistant license (Massachusetts license strongly encouraged)
  • A current driver's license
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • A minimum of six months of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience in acute care, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and/or outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
