School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant needed for Denver Public Schools.

Job Description
  • Implement documented treatment/intervention plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist; accurately collect and record subjective and objective data; record students' status with regard to established objectives as stated in the treatment plan; and report information to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including filing, copying, and completing Medicaid billing.
  • Discuss student treatment plans with the Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologist in the assessment of students and conduct standardized and non-standardized screenings as requested by the Pathologist.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, completed SLPA training project, six months to one year of relevant experience, School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Authorization, Certificate of completion for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program, and the ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Denver Public Schools offers a competitive salary range of $27.263 - $32.715 per hour, as well as Total Reward offerings such as time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement.
