We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst to join our team in Whitsett, NC.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the analysis and preparation of periodic financials by working closely with all areas of medi. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the General Ledger (GL) and other reporting sources.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and communicate observations to management.
  • Support the completion of month-end accounting activities, including fixed asset tracking, department and product level analysis, and creating and posting GL journal entries.
  • Participate in the annual budget process and assist in costing products.
  • Research, interpret, and analyze information, communicating responses and insights through spreadsheet reporting and other applicable methods.
Requirements
  • 4-year accounting degree required.
  • 2-3 years of general accounting experience, including financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and intercompany transactions.
  • Deadline-oriented and detail-focused.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
