Nephrologist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrologist to join our team at the Salisbury VA HealthCare System.

The Salisbury VA HealthCare System is a leading provider of healthcare services to veterans in North Carolina, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care. As a Nephrologist, you will play a critical role in our dialysis program, providing expert care to patients with kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality patient care to inpatient and outpatient adults aged 18 and older.
2. Act as the staff attending physician for assigned subspecialty consult services.
3. Engage in peer review activities upon request.
4. Implement changes in patient care programs informed by current research and study findings.
5. Deliver clinical and dialysis care in Kernersville and Salisbury, North Carolina.

Requirements:

1. Exhibit a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
2. Serve as the medical director for both inpatient and outpatient dialysis.
3. Provide support and expert guidance to advanced practice providers.
4. Offer leadership and oversight to medical students and residents.
5. Participate in medical center committees and programs aimed at enhancing patient care services.
6. Set and review professional and personal goals on an annual basis.
7. Recognize professional development needs and engage in training programs.
