Role Overview

The Maintenance Scheduler Professional is a key member of the facilities team at Malace HR, responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across the automotive campus.

Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with Work Control Center to receive and dispatch work requests, monitor backlog, urgency, and effective use of IWMS/CMMS (Maximo).
  • Supporting Facility Supervisors in resolving scope discrepancies, scheduling conflicts, labor issues, business disruptions, project escalation, customer complaints, and tracking customer satisfaction, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for productivity, process improvements, energy savings, cost reductions, and quality initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Technical Associate's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or related curriculum, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification by recognized professional bodies, such as IFMA, SMRP, AFE, or Skilled Trades license, with coursework indicating advanced professional development.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant technical experience as Maintenance Supervisor, Planner/Scheduler, with knowledge of integrated facility operations and systems maintenance in engineering/research or manufacturing environment, significant responsibility for customer relations, and familiarity with OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Experience and proficiency with IWMS/CMMS in large-scale, technical operations, all aspects of process design, system administration, user training, and development.
  • Administrative experience related to operations management, including budgeting, staff supervision, safety, work planning, scheduling, and logistics.

This position requires a strong understanding of maintenance operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The salary for this role is $65,000 annually.
