Product Consultant Job Description

TAKKT Foodservices is a leading distributor of food service equipment and supplies, and we're seeking a skilled Product Consultant to join our Sales Team.

The primary focus of this role is to drive profitable growth with existing and prospective customers through proactive over-the-phone sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate profitable growth through prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with customers.
  • Develop customized product quotations based on customer needs assessment conversations.
  • Lead daily meaningful proactive customer touches, including follow-up on orders, marketing campaigns, and post-sales order follow-up.
  • Become familiar with products in all categories and their applications in various customer segments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year sales experience, preferably in multi-channel inside phone sales.
  • Experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
  • College degree is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Sharp organizational skills for effective, timely follow-through.
  • Excellent computer skills to navigate between desktop and laptop programs, including ERP, Salesforce, Outlook, Teams, and AutoQuotes.
  • Superb negotiation skills.
  • Possess an attitude driven to succeed and money motivated.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
