Financial Advisor Job Description

Priority Financial Group is seeking a high-quality, driven, and energetic Financial Advisor to work with one of our top credit union partners.

The role of the Financial Advisor is to enhance member and client relationships by providing holistic, planning advice through the sale of Investment, Insurance, and Estate Planning products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage fee-based financial planning tools to help clients reach their personal, education, business, retirement, and estate planning goals.
  • Conduct Investment, Insurance, and Estate Planning sales with assigned Members.
  • Provide Financial Education services to Credit Union Members.
  • Achieve activity and sales goals as agreed upon.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) from four-year College or University: or associate degree (AAS) from two-year College or equivalent job experience.
  • Possess valid FINRA and State Insurance licensing certifications (Series 7, Series 65 or 66, and Life and Health Insurance).
  • Certified Financial Planner designation preferred. Credentials recommended.
  • Need two or more years of experience in related financial planning/sales field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess a clean credit and U-4 CRD history.

The income range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work location. The posted salary range is subject to increase based on annual commissions.
