Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Green Valley Freestanding Emergency Department. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and other imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans and other imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Review patient history and initiate CT scans based on physician orders.
  • Prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Implement techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
