About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the individual to provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment, and providing excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform diagnostic radiological procedures, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment, and provide high-quality images for medical professionals to interpret.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent customer service to patients, including registration, scheduling, and transportation.
  • Image Processing: Understand and use the current RIS and PACS system to manage and process images.
  • Collaboration: Work with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • License/Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) OR Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of radiology equipment and exams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
