Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of patients through our health care setting. This role requires a unique blend of clinical and administrative skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and contributing to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately schedule tests and obtain films and reports
Assist physicians and/or nurses with special procedures and examinations
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and implement plans for patient care
Maintain medical records and ensure all required documentation is available
Perform clerical duties such as greeting patients, registration, and scheduling
Perform vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures and document in medical records
Requirements:
High School Graduate
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CCMA
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification
