As a Clinical Infection Control Specialist / RN, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with physicians, management, and staff to oversee the care of patients with infectious diseases or those who are immune-compromised.
  • Holding a Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
  • A Master's degree in a clinical specialty is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
  • Possessing a current State RN license is mandatory.
  • BLS Certification is required.
  • ICP or a related certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing is essential.
  • Familiarity with Infection Control principles, including a foundational understanding of epidemiology, infections, diseases, sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection practices is preferred.
