As a Clinical Infection Control Specialist / RN, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with physicians, management, and staff to oversee the care of patients with infectious diseases or those who are immune-compromised.
- Holding a Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
- A Master's degree in a clinical specialty is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
- Possessing a current State RN license is mandatory.
- BLS Certification is required.
- ICP or a related certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing is essential.
- Familiarity with Infection Control principles, including a foundational understanding of epidemiology, infections, diseases, sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection practices is preferred.
