Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Mission and System Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for functional and integration testing of mission partners' software and applications, ensuring that requirements and mission objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for space missions using DevSecOps principles.
  • Collaborate with the IV&T team to ensure mission partners' requirements and objectives are being met.
  • Setup and perform system compatibility tests with mission partners.
  • Develop and manage mission-specific and system-specific test plans, schedules, and resources.
  • Develop and present test findings, including recommendations for solving issues encountered during integration and test.
  • Ensure that applications meet customer requirements using rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  • Perform in-depth testing of mission partner software and applications on designated frameworks.
  • Test new and updated applications on the system framework.
  • Participate in technical discussions to assist in planning future test efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 5+ years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working Integration, Test and Verification on space-related DoD acquisition programs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with mission partners.
  • Experience with satellite mission operations.
  • Experience with mission integration and test.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
  • Experience with OPIR and MDPAF.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Skills:
  • USSF FORGE MDPAF experience.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environment.
  • DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.
  • Experience working on DoD projects.
  • Test experience in hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
