Woodworking Specialist

Job Summary:

MFG Construction & Water Products is seeking a skilled Form / Pattern Maker to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating molds and plugs for the manufacturing of parts using various types of wood and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret part prints and create CAD drawings to make forms/molds.
• Build molds according to blueprint specifications.
• Cutting/trimming wood to fit design requirements.
• Use correct tools for the job and maintain a safe working environment.
• Cleaning and maintaining work tools and safety equipment.
• Cleaning work areas at the end of the workday.
• Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules.
• Other activities or tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Previous woodworking experience required.
• Finish carpentry, furniture making, experience a plus.
• CAD experience required.
• Previous pattern making, form making experience a plus.
• Experience managing a small team a plus.
• Experience with saws, drills, routers, planers, sanders, etc. required.

Attributes:

• Position requires light to medium physical requirements including pushing/pulling, bending/stretching, and standing.
• Able to work with others as a team.
• Able to stand for 8 hours or more a day.

What We Offer:

Starting wage: Up to $25/hr depending on experience.
