Job Overview

Joe Blow Ts Inc is seeking a highly skilled Production Artist to join our in-house creative team in Millersville, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs, artwork, and visual content for our sportswear products.

We are looking for an experienced professional with 2-3 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. You should have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography. They should also be proficient in setting up and modifying Illustrator art files for output to film printers, creating comps from art files, and maintaining contact with customers during the approval process.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  1. Setting up and modifying Illustrator art files for output to film printers
  2. Creating comps from art files and submitting them to customers for approval
  3. Maintaining contact with customers during the approval process through pre-press production
  4. Creating, maintaining, and updating sales catalogs and line sheets for various company collections
  5. Updating and maintaining the company website (joeblow.com)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with film printing processes and digital pre-press production
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
