The World Bank Group is seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. As an economic analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of policies and programs aimed at promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Job Description:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Analyze and interpret economic data to inform analytical reports and project design.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Provide operational data retrieval/reporting support; Assist in preparation of jobs and growth portfolio reports.
  • Economic Analysis and Research: Conduct comprehensive economic analysis and research on jobs, growth, and economic development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Economics, Development Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in economic analysis, policy development, and project management.
