About the Role:
The Mammography Technologist is a vital member of our Diagnostic Imaging team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital. As a Breast Health Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients.
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary to ensure high-quality images.
- Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Meet the minimum education and experience requirements for the position, including graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Hold current AART (M) - Mammography registration and BLS Certification.
