Laborer - Environmental Response

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is an emergency response and rapid services contractor to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. We provide real-time emergency and time-critical environmental removal actions. Our work involves containment and removal of hazardous materials from the environment under varied site conditions. This may include demolition, soil excavation, dredging, and site restoration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform physical labor on job sites handling hazardous materials in bulk, drums, and small containers.
* Operate power tools and small equipment.
* Work requires ability to work overtime, extended travel, and timely response to emergency situations.
* Must be capable of physical manual labor using shovels, rakes, and brooms.
* Requires working outdoors in the weather elements under adverse conditions at times.
* Company will provide personal protective equipment.
* Must hold a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate and 8-hour refresher.
* Recommended but not required completion of a 10 OSHA Construction Safety course and be able to present a certificate of compliance.
* Must have a High School diploma/GED minimum.

We conduct pre-employment drug screens and pre-employment physicals.
