Job Duties:
As a key member of the FIBA Technologies, Inc. team, the Grain Blaster will be responsible for operating equipment that directs a blast of abrasive material over the surface of parts to remove impurities and achieve a smooth finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to comprehend instructions to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Shoveling or pouring abrasives into the machine hopper
- Masking specified areas of the object to protect it from the abrading action
- Regulating the pressure and composition of the abrasive steel shot mixture flowing through the nozzle
- Examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications

Additionally, the Grain Blaster may be required to perform light equipment maintenance and assist Assembly workers in the assembly of trailers, skids, and ground containment units when not sandblasting.

Job Requirements:
High school or GED education; or up to 3 months related experience and on-the-job training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to comprehend instructions, certification in overhead Crane operation and safety inspection, and Hazmat certification are also required.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift 50+ lbs and have the ability to stoop, crouch, bend, climb, and kneel.
