Occupational Therapist Assistant Position in a K-12 School Setting

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a school-based setting. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized therapy plans and interventions for students, working closely with a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and adaptive techniques
- Assist with assessments, including screenings and documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure therapy goals are integrated into students' daily activities and classroom routines
- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or a related field
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in CA
- Previous experience working with children in a school or clinical setting preferred
- Guaranteed hours
- Petitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit
- Health, vision, and dental benefits available
This role is located north of Benicia, CA. The estimated salary range for this position is $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience.
