Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to and from various locations within scheduled time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
  • Transport goods to and from specified locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all company safety policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups, communicating effectively with dispatch and team members.
Requirements
  • DOT Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to operate and manage different types of freight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
